Issue Position

As a driver in NYC, I find the condition of our streets unacceptable. As basic as it seems, investing in the infrastructure of our roads has clearly been an area of neglect in the not so distant past. The expediency with which our Department of Transportation repairs our roads is deplorable. The impact is felt by each of us who drive in the city through costly repairs to our cars as well as exacerbating the already difficult commutes. For these repairs, I plan to lobby for reimbursements until our roads are back up to standard.
